Ted Pella Inc PELCO TEM Grid Storage Box
Widely used compact grid box for 50 standard 3.05mm TEM grids with smoothly sliding clear plastic cover is matched to a tough, clean, self-lubricating base. The diamond-shaped grid compartments are designed to minimize awkward wrist or hand movements. The depth of the holes restricts grid movement when transported. The materials selected for the PELCO Grid Box are static dissipative to avoid static charges on the grids. Dimensions: 77.5 x 41 x 9mm.
Ted Pella Inc Carbon Film only on 200 mesh, Copper, 25/pk
Carbon films with a thickness of 15-25nm with no Formvar used during manufacturing. Completely free of Formvar. Carbon films are thin and highly transparent to electrons. They exhibit very fine grain and minimal interference with specimen structure. Films are ready to use upon receipt. The pure carbon films tend to be more delicate than support films with a Formvar backing and require more delicate handling during specimen preparation.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Lacey Carbon Film with Ultrathin Formvar 3-4 nm thick on 300 mesh Gold Grid
The continuous ultrathin formvar film on lacey carbon allows for the thinnest support film that still has adequate strength to withstand electron microscope specimen preparation. The less than 3nm thick film lies across a carbon lacey film supported by a mesh grid. The size of the holes in the lacey film differ widely from batch to batch but are generally in the range of ¼ µm to 5µm, which gives the equivalent support of at least 6000 mesh grid.
Specimen material lying over the covered holes can be imaged in the TEM with practically no interference from the carbon film supporting it. This product is ideal for looking at nanotubes, virus particles and other small particulate material.

QUANTIFOIL is a perforated support foil with pre-defined hole size, shape and arrangement that has advantages in electron microscopy (EM) or low-energy electron point source (LEEPS) when compared with conventional holey film. QUANTIFOIL with circular holes is used in cryo-electron tomographic reconstruction. The roundness of the holes is advantageous with respect to the formation of an ice layer of constant thickness. May be preferred over foils with smaller holes if the carbon film should be outside the frame of the image. This option can be desirable in the case of extended objects, such as filamentous objects. Hole size is 3.5 µm. Space between holes is 1 µm. Center to center is 4.5 µm. Grid: Copper. Mesh: 200 .

Hole size is 2 µm. Space between holes is 1 µm. Center to center is 3 µm. Types with 2 µm holes are recommended for magnifications between 30.000x and 40.000x.

CVD graphene on ultra-flat thermal SiO2. The high quality graphene is produced by chemical vapor deposition, a process by which gaseous reactants are deposited onto a substrate. The Ultra-flat Thermal SiO2 Substrate consists of a 200 nm thermally grown SiO2 film on an ultra-flat silicon wafer with a normal thickness of 675 um. The size is 5 mm x 5 mm. Graphene coverage of the TEM grid is better than 75 percent. Available in four thicknesses of CVD graphene, 1, 2, 3-5, and 6-8.
