Microscope Accessories and Replacement Parts
General accessories and parts for use with microscopes. Products include lens oil, lens cleaner, slide dispensers, microscope covers, vessel holders, light cubes, and flow cells.
Many parts of your microscope can be updated or replaced including microscope lamps, lenses, and eyepieces. Replacement lamps, light sources, and power cords can extend the working lives of your microscopy equipment. New or replacement objectives and lenses can help increase the total magnification available with your microscope.
Add greater magnification or exchange your eyepiece for one with a reticule to more easily estimate the sizes of the items being viewed.
Replace or update your mechanical stage or clamps or add cell culture vessel adapters to facilitate specimen positioning.
Condensers can also be replaced, and conversion kits are available to add phase contrast, polarization, fluorescence, or other capabilities to your current system.
Some microscopes can be adapted for use with still or video cameras. Look for cameras and adapters designed for your specific microscope brand. Film and documentation-related products may also be available to support your record-keeping.
Temporary, semi-permanent, and more long-term slide storage options include:
- Slide racks that securely hold slides during staining procedures
- Folding fiberboard or plastic slide holders with horizontal indentations that keep microscope slides in place
- Slide storage boxes with vertical dividers; made from fiberboard, plastic, and wood and available in multiple sizes
- Slide holders and mailers for transporting slides safely
- Slide storage systems and cabinets for large quantities of slides or archival storage

Support Film on grids has become a main product line for us since the demand for high quality coated grids has increased. To make your microscopy work easier and to save you a great deal of time we offer you a complete line. All of our coated grids are optically checked followed by batch testing in the EM. Electron Microscopy Sciences Ultra Smooth Carbon Adhesive Tabs, 12 mm
Thin film of strong adhesive 1⁄2" diameter, over 99% transparent to EDS. With nickel (0.6%) and copper (< 0.3%). Used for gunshots residues. Small nonconductive particles can imaged and X-Rayed without conductiv coating.

Grainger Subbase Metal/Plastic 265/208/230V
The Grainger 36PT88 is a 3/4 HP, 115V, 1725 RPM, 56 frame, open drip proof, ball bearing, C-face motor. It has a 1.15 service factor and is thermally protected. The motor is totally enclosed, fan cooled (TEFC) with a cast iron frame. It has a NEMA standard C-face mounting with a standard shaft. The motor is designed for general purpose applications.
Electron Microscopy Sciences Gilder Double Oyster Grid 50/100, Nickel
Double grids are used mostly in metallurgical applications for supporting thin metal foils. These grids have a curved securing tab which folds to the curvature of the 'sandwiched' grid. 3.05 mm diameter, 0.7 mil (18um) thickness.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Carbon Cohesive Sheet, 0.16 mm
These conductive cohesive sheets offer good adhesion to the specimen and yield good conductivity and background structures, even with particles as small as 15 microns. Produces minimum gas under vacuum conditions.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Optical Resolution Grating with Ronchi Ruling 125 lines/ mm
Metallic grating pattern on glass squares with opaque lines approximately 50% of the pitch. Stock items are on 50 mm x 50 mm squares of glass 1.5 mm thick. The glass is B270 with refractive index of 1.52. Mutually perpendicular pairs produce a screen of square apertures. Vacuum deposited chrome gratings on glass substrate. Ted Pella Inc Carbon Film only on 200 mesh, Copper, 50/pk
Carbon films with a thickness of 15-25nm with no Formvar used during manufacturing. Completely free of Formvar. Carbon films are thin and highly transparent to electrons. They exhibit very fine grain and minimal interference with specimen structure. Films are ready to use upon receipt. The pure carbon films tend to be more delicate than support films with a Formvar backing and require more delicate handling during specimen preparation.
