Vector Laboratories VECTASHIELD Vibrance Antifade Mounting Medium with DAPI 2 ml
VECTASHIELD Vibrance Antifade Mounting Medium with DAPI offers superior protection against photobleaching during fluorescence-based imaging of cells and tissue sections. It is supplied as an aqueous, ready-to-use formulation with a blue fluorescent counterstain. No sealing is required, and sections may be viewed after only one hour. There is minimal bubble formation, retraction or background development over extended room temperature slide storage. It works well with dyes and other fluors across the spectrum, including those with far-red fluorescence. The refractive index after curing is 1.47. 12-month expiration.

Specially developed mounting medium is compatible with National Diagnostic clearing agents, HistoClear II. Omnimount combines outstanding optical characteristics with low fluororescence and exceptional durability. Omnimount is a truly universal mounting medium compatible with all common clearing agents: xylene, toluene, limonene, and petroleum derived products.
The Omnimount solvent has a higher flash point and a lower toxicity than xylene based mountants, so Omnimount provides both a safer work environment and reduce shipping costs.
Electron Microscopy Sciences JB-4™ Embedding Kit 1 GR
A water soluble embedding media which is based on Glycol Methacrylate (GMA) plastic embedding. It is intended for use in preparing samples for high resolution microscopes (HRLM). The catalyzed monomer acts as a dehydration and infiltration agent; therefore, complete dehydration through 100% ethanol is not necessary (although recommended for large or dense tissues). Conventional paraffin sections have a greater degree of shrinkage and produce inadequate morphology when compared to JB-4. Kit includes 800 ml Solution A, 30 ml Solution B, 12 g catalyst.
AdipoGen DAPI dihydrochloride
Chemical. CAS 28718-90-3. Formula C16H15N5 . 2HCl. MW 277.3 . 72.9. Synthetic. Cell permeable fluorescent DNA stain. AT-sequence-specific DNA intercalator. Binds to the minor groove of double-stranded DNA preferentially to adenine and thymine AT rich DNA, like Hoechst dyes, forming a stable complex which fluoresces approximately 20 times greater than DAPI alone. Spectral Data Excitation lambdaex 340 nm Emission lambdaem 488 nm only DAPI. Excitation lambdaex 360nm Emission lambdaem 460nm DAPI-DNA complex. Commonly used to stain DNA and chromosomes for fluorescent microscopy and flow cytometry applications. DAPI is often used as a counterstain, as its ultraviolet excitation lambdaex 360nm and blue emission lambdaem 460nm wavelengths separate it nicely from many popular primary fluorophores.

Micromount is a rapid-drying, xylene-based mounting medium. An antioxidant is added to inhibit stain fading and prevent the formation of annual rings. Micromount sets up quickly, allowing slide preparations to be handled immediately after mounting. Micromount is soluble in xylene, toluene, and most xylene substitutes.

EverBrite™ mounting medium is a revolutionary antifade mounting medium optimally formulated for preserving fluorescence of Biotium's CF™ dyes and other fluorochromes. Unlike VectaShield®, EverBrite™ is compatible with cyanine-based fluorophores like Cy® dyes. The mounting medium permits immediate imaging of slides and tissues after sealing edges of coverslips with nail polish or Biotium’s CoverGrip™ Coverslip Sealant. After mounting, slides can be stored at 4°C for a year or longer. EverBrite™ provides a high level of protection from photobleaching over a wide range of fluorescence wavelengths. EverBrite™ Mounting Medium has a refractive index of 1.46, which is well-matched to the refractive indices of coverslip glass and immersion oil (1.5). 10 mL. SuperMount is compatible with most chromogens commonly used in immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization including AEC, DAB, Fast Red, New Fuchsin, and BCIP/NBT. SuperMount is also compatible with specimens stained with fluorescent dyes, including rhodamine, fluorescein, Texas Red, and even with phycoerythrin and its related derivatives such as phycocyanin and allophycocyanin. EMS Shield Mount is an aqueous non-permanent, low viscosity mounting medium for immunofluorescence. This unique formula prevents rapid photobleaching of FITC, Texas Red, AMCA, Cy2, Cy3, Cy5, Alexa fluoro 488, Alexa fluoro 594, Green fluorescent protein (GFP), tetramethyly rhodamine and Redox. The fluorescence is retained during storage at 4 degree C in the dark. This medium does not contain phenylenediamine, which destroys immunofluorescence of Cy dyes.
Application: Use for immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy.

Fluoro-Gel Mounting Medium with a strong anti-fading agent 1,4-phenylenediamine is an aqueous mounting medium for preserving fluorescence of tissue and cell smears. This unique formula preserves rapid photobleaching of FITC, Texas Red, AMCA, Cy2, Cy3, Cy5, Alexa Fluoro 388, Alexa Fluoro 594 tetramethyly rhodamine, and Redox. The fluorescence is retained during prolong storage at 4 degree C in the dark.
This medium contains Phynylenediamine and is not suitable for immunofluorescence of Cy dyes, Phycoerythrin (R-PR) phycocyanin (PC), and allophycocyanin (APC). Prepared from TRIS buffer. Ready-to-use mounting medium with dark coffee color, this is normal, and does not interfere with immuno-fluorescence.
Storage in temperature of 2-8 degree C is recommended. Protect from light. DO NOT FREEZE.
