Rapid Microbial Presence Tests
Rapid Microbial Presence Tests
NC1583921 HARDWARE KIT (MFX QUANTUM)
10 single packs of cartridges All of our rapid testing instruments utilize our FDA-licensed cartridges for batch release testing, as well as a variety of non-regulated cartridges for simple, 15-minute testing. The cartridges are pre-loaded with all of the reagents required to perform an LAL test, eliminating preparation of multiple reagents and reducing the opportunity for technician error. Since there is no need to create a standard curve, create a positive product control and reconstitute LAL, there is no need for a negative control by the user. However, it is recommended that when performing sample dilutions, the diluent be tested for endotoxin prior to use.
This kit includes a 15 minute microwave and traditional procedure. This kit is suitable in lieu of and comparable to the traditional Warthin-Starry Stain. This kit differs from the traditional procedure by incorporating optimized reagents which allows the MasterTech Warthin-Starry Staining time to be reduced to just 15 minutes instead of more than two hours. Silver Nitrate, developed by the Hydroquinone based reducing solution serves as the primary stain, producing dark brown to black cat scratch fever, Helicobacter pylori, legionella pneumophila, and spirochetes against a yellow to brown background.
NC0942473 10-TEST 1.2ML 12/CS
NC0668776 CHARIVR ENDOTOXIN 5/PK
Licensed Cartridge Pack 0.05 EU/ML sensitivity The disposable cartridge contains four channels - two channels with CSE and LAL, which serve as the positive control channels, and two channels with LAL for testing of samples. To perform the test, add 25 ul of sample into all four sample reservoirs. The reader's internal pump moves the samples to the first reagent station for mixing. The pump then moves the samples to the second station for mixing, and lastly into the optical cells of the cartridge to be read kinetically.
NC1536339 MALDI-TOF BAC TEST STD 5TUBES
Accutest Uriscreen™ is a rapid screening test which combines the detection of both bacteriuria and pyuria (the presence of somatic cells in urine), by detecting catalase activity (an enzyme present in many eukaryotic cells). Accutest Uriscreen™ provides physicians’ offices, clinical laboratories and outpatient sites with a rapid and accurate screening method for urinary tract infections. Accutest Uriscreen’s negative predictive value (NPV) of 95%, is higher than the NPV of the urine dipstick. Accutest Uriscreen™ is a cost-effective, screening procedure, which can be used to complement conventional culture methods.
