Montana Molecular Green fS15-targeted cADDis cAMP Assay - 10mL
Measure real-time cAMP signaling kinetics with this flag-tagged S15 cADDis cAMP sensor. Add fS15-tagged cADDis to your cells and measure robust signals the next day on a fluorescence imaging system. Decreasing green fluorescence indicates cAMP increase. This assay is genetically encoded and packaged in BacMam for efficient transduction in most cell types - including uniform and near 100% efficiency in HEK293 cells as well as expression in many primary or iPSC-derived cells. The kit includes the cAMP sensor BacMam, 500mM sodium butyrate in H2O, and a positive control receptor and agonist (B2AR BacMam and 10mM isoproterenol in HCl). Other Montana Molecular tools including BacMam-packaged GPCRs, red fluorescent nucleus-targeted or cytosolic cAMP sensors, or red fluorescent sensors for DAG or PIP2 can easily be co-expressed with this assay.

Urea is the final degradation product of protein and amino acid metabolism. Urea is found in blood and is excreted by the kidney as a component of urine. Besides its role as carrier of waste nitrogen, urea also plays a role in the countercurrent exchange system of the nephrons, allowing for re-absorption of water and critical ions from the excreted urine. Cayman’s Urea Fluorometric Assay provides a convenient method for detecting urea in plasma, serum, and urine. In this assay, urease catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into carbon dioxide and ammonia. Ammonia reacts with the detector resulting in a fluorescent product. Fluorescence is analyzed with an excitation wavelength of 405-415 nm and an emission wavelength of 470-480 nm.
