This detection kit is a robust, sensitive and easy-to-use assay to determine GPCR activity through detection of intracellular cAMP levels. The HitHunter cAMP assay is intended for use with cells expressing Gαs- or Gαi-coupled GPCRs. This product uses EFC technology, and contains ED-tagged cAMP, anti-cAMP antibody, and pure EA. Upon application to a cell which contains endogenous, untagged cAMP, the anti-cAMP antibody will be sequestered by binding to this untagged cAMP, allowing for EFC between the tagged cAMP and soluble EA. This will produce a proportional level of chemiluminescent signal. This kit format is intended for Small Molecules, with a protocol written for use in a 384-well plate. Traditional lipid extraction by the Folch method is tedious and uses toxic chloroform as the key solvent. In addition, the extracted lipids end up in the bottom layer which is inconvenient. Cell Biolabs' Lipid Extraction Kit (Chloroform-Free) uses an organic solvent system that results in the organic phase being on the top, making it easier to use while eliminating the need for chloroform. Each kit provides sufficient reagents for 50 preps based on a 100µL sample size.

Cell Biolabs’ HDL and LDL/VLDL Cholesterol Assay Kit is a simple fluorometric assay that can measure the amounts of HDL and LDL/VLDL cholesterol present in plasma or serum samples within a 96-well microtiter plate format. The kit provides reagents for separating and quantifying HDL and LDL/VLDL cholesterol. The assay will detect total cholesterol (cholesteryl esters plus free cholesterol) in the presence of cholesterol esterase or only free cholesterol in the absence of the esterase enzyme. Each kit provides sufficient reagents to perform up to 192 assays, including blanks, cholesterol standards and unknown samples. Sample cholesterol concentrations are determined by comparison with a known cholesterol standard. Cholesteryl esters can be quantified by subtracting the free cholesterol values from the total cholesterol value.
Cell Biolabs Inc CytoSelect™ LDH Cytotoxicity Assay Kit, 960 assays
The CytoSelect™ LDH Cytotoxicity Assay Kit provides a colorimetric format for measuring cell cytotoxicity. Cells can be plated and then treated with compounds or agents that affect cell viability. Upon cell death, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), a soluble enzyme found in the cytoplasm, is released into the growth media. In the presence of lactate substrate, LDH converts lactate to pyruvate and generates nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH). The WST-1 molecule is converted to the orange formazan form. An increase in cell cytotoxicity is accompanied by increased LDH release and increased colorimetric signal. The assay principles are basic and can be applied to most eukaryotic cell lines, including adherent and non-adherent cells and certain tissues, depending on LDH expression levels. The LDH Cytotoxicity Reagent can be used to detect cytotoxicity in mammalian cells. The kit contains sufficient reagents for the evaluation of 960 assays in 96-well plates.
