Medium durometer silicone with .003 silicone laminated on both sides. Great for trace analysis work. Resist coring and good resealing characteristics. Use with auto samplers with blunt tip syringes.

Cap, Chem Snap, 11mm, Natural, Pre-Cut Septa, PTFE/Silicone. Chem Snap Caps include pre-cut septa where only the carrier is cut through in a Y-form, leaving the PTFE lamination intact. The unhurt PTFE lamination gives 100% protection to the sample while leaving a 0.05mm thick PTFE portion remaining for needle penetration. The Y-form in the pre-cut silicone allows for a better flow of air during sample pick up in order to avoid a vacuum in the vial.
