8-Azido-ATP is a ribonucleoside triphosphate analog with an azido group substitution at the adenine C-8 position It acts primarily as an ATP mimic interacting with poly(A) polymerase (PAP) specifically illustrated using yeast poly(A) polymerase (yPAP) Incorporation of 8-azido-ATP into growing polyadenylation chains results in premature termination and moderately shorter poly(A) tails relative to natural ATP substrates Due to its chain-terminating capacity and altered substrate specificity 8-azido-ATP is applied in biochemical studies examining enzyme fidelity nucleotide selection mechanisms and RNA polymerase activity

Adenosine amine congener (ADAC) is a selective A1 adenosine receptor agonist known for its ability to ameliorate noise- and cisplatin-induced cochlear injury. It also exhibits neuroprotective effects by reducing oxidative stress and inhibiting apoptosis in cochlear tissues, thereby protecting sensory hair cells and strial marginal cells.
Selective A1 adenosine receptor agonist
Ameliorates noise-induced cochlear injury
Reduces cisplatin-induced cochlear injury
Provides neuroprotective effects
Reduces oxidative stress in noise-exposed cochlea
Inhibits glutamate release via presynaptic A1 receptors
Inhibits voltage-gated Ca2+ channels
Prevents activation of apoptotic and necrotic cell death pathways
Mitigates noise-induced hearing loss in a dose- and time-dependent manner

NAD(P)H-flavin reductase is a recombinant His-tagged enzyme expressed in E. coli that catalyzes the reduction of soluble flavins using NADH or NADPH. Supplied as a lyophilized powder formulated in PBS with trehalose, it is intended for enzymatic assays and biochemical studies requiring a reliable flavin reductase reference reagent.
Recombinant enzyme with N-terminal His tag.
Catalyzes reduction of soluble flavins using NADH or NADPH.
Supplied lyophilized from PBS with 6% trehalose.
Purity greater than 90% by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Low endotoxin level (<1 EU/μg).
Stable when stored at -20°C; aliquot and freeze for long-term storage.

MAb VU-4H5 reacts with MUC1, a large transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the ductal surface of normal glandular epithelia. The dominant epitope of MAb VU4H5 is APDTR as established with 'epitope fingerprinting'. VU-4H5 preferentially binds to under-glycosylated 'tumor' MUC1. The extracellular domain of MUC1 largely consists of a highly conserved, O-glycosylated 20 amino acids tandem repeat which can occur 30-100 times per molecule depending on the length of the allele involved. In the vast majority of human carcinomas this protein is upregulated and poorly glycosylated and appears on the cell surface in a non-polarized fashion. Antibody to EMA is useful as a pan-epithelial marker for detecting early metastatic loci of carcinoma in bone marrow or liver.

Nicotinamide (CAS 98-92-0) is a small-molecule inhibitor of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase-1 (PARP-1) an enzyme critical in DNA repair pathways Under pathological conditions such as ischemia or trauma PARP-1 hyperactivation depletes cellular NAD triggering neuronal cell death In vitro studies indicate that transporter-mediated uptake of nicotinamide confers protection against PARP-1-induced astrocyte injury In vivo studies in diabetic rat models demonstrate that nicotinamide administration normalizes hepatic antioxidant enzymes reducing oxidative stress Clinical trials have shown dose-dependent upregulation of frataxin expression following sustained nicotinamide treatment suggesting therapeutic potential in disorders like Friedreich s ataxia
