Adefovir dipivoxil is an orally active adenosine analog and Adefovir prodrug. It inhibits DNA synthesis, activates the ATR signaling pathway, and disrupts the KCTD12-CDK1 interaction. This compound exhibits antiviral activity against PRV, HBV, and orthopoxviruses. Additionally, it shows antitumor activity against lung and colon cancer.
