Design of all PTFE plug permits semi-needle valve action. With a standard taper top outer joint and lower inner joint, both being the same size, and pressure equalizing arm. 500mL jacketed pressure equalizing addition funnel with 24/40 top and bottom joints, and a 4mm PTFE stopcock. Jacket runs from shoulder at top of vessel to above the PTFE stopcock. Funnel has size D hose barbs for 3/8 ID tubing. Pressure equalizing arm runs from top of vessel to just below the PTFE stopcock. Graduations are in both ascending and descending volume. Bottom drip tip extends to the edge of the bottom inner joint. Top outer joint is reinforced for safety.

150mL Funnel, Cold Addition, 24/40 Top Outer, 24/40 Lower Inner, 370mm OAL, Airfree, Schlenk. Used in the preparation of block copolymers or any chemical synthesis requiring high vacuum techniques. Funnel features a large diameter ring seal between the coolant container & the addition funnel body. The open cup design of the coolant chamber allows for easy addition of coolant, particularly dry ice chunks. Constructed using grease-free 0-4mm Chem-Vac™ Chem-Cap valves on the pressure equalizing arm & lower inner joint. Positioning of the valves permits the funnel contents to be kept under inert conditions prior to use or during loading. A 14/20 outer joint is sealed on the funnel body above the coolant chamber for syringe sampling of the funnel contents. Funnel has a drain tube on the rear of the coolant chamber.
