Cost-effective replacement rolls are sold separately. Ideal for use under the hood; the SealMate dispenser minimizes film contamination. Environmentally friendly; no paper liner to remove and discard; utilizes approximately 72% less material than SealPlate sheeted film. AlumaFoil™ Aluminum Foil PCR Sealing Film, PCR features a specially formulated adhesive that provides an excellent seal to minimize evaporation, reduce cross-contamination and prevent spillage. Universal fit for all plate types (e.g. flat-top, raised-rim and non-skirted); the smaller dimensions and rounded corners result in no plate overhang for robotics applications. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Pierceable with a pipet tip or robotic probe for direct sample recovery. 2.0mil aluminum foil removes easily without shredding or tearing. The conformable nature of foil allows for the visual verification of the seal’s security around each well. Not recommended for long-term storage.

Alkali Scientific SilverSeal CS™ 50 µm Acrylic Adhesive Sealing Film, Sterile, 100/pk
SilverSeal CS™ 50 µm Acrylic Adhesive Sealing Film are not recommended for PCR or thermocycling. A single non-perforated end tab simplifies application. Simply hold the tab and strip the backing from the body of the sealing film as it lays on the plate to avoid curling. Dimensions are 82.6 by 132.6 mm, including the single 9.5 mm end tab. SilverSeal CS™ sealing films are certified DNase-, RNase-, and nucleic-acid-free. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Specially formulated for cold storage to -80°C. Excellent barrier properties to retard evaporation. Easily pierceable with pipet tips or robotic probes for sample recovery.

Xtreme™ Seal features an extra-strong thick adhesive to minimize evaporation, yet removes easily without leaving residue on the plate. Features chamfered corners to eliminate plate overhang for robotics applications and tight storage conditions. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Ideal for use with raised-rim and non-skirted PCR plates. Selection of the proper film size will minimize evaporation. The film should not overhang or ride up the wall of a raised-rim plate. More complete coverage of skirted flat-top plates will reduce evaporation in the outer wells. End-tab removal before thermal cycling is highly recommended.

Multi-Seal™ Multilayer Polyethylene Sealing Film consisting of a top pierceable clear polyethylene film and a white polypropylene sublayer with 96 circular areas void of adhesive. The white sublayer aids in the alignment of the film to the plate; alignment of opposing corner wells ensures that all 96 wells will be properly aligned. The adhesive-free zones are 9mm on center to facilitate multi-channel pipetting without adhesive fouling of pipet tips or robotic probes. Offers excellent chemical resistance and is pierccable. Samples have minimal contact with adhesive due to the adhesive-free zones.
