Alkali Scientific ThermalSeal™ Advanced Sealing Film, 100/pk
Ideal for use with flat-top, semi-skirted and full-skirted PCR plates. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Compatible with hard-shell dual component (e.g. polycarbonate/polypropylene) PCR plates. Features a smaller cut for raised-rim and non-skirted PCR plates. Tips: Selection of the proper film size will minimize evaporation. The film should not overhang or ride up the wall of a raised-rim plate. More complete coverage of skirted flat-top plates will reduce evaporation in the outer wells. End-tab removal before thermal cycling is highly recommended.

Alkali Scientific VaporSeal™ Titan™ Microplate Sealing Starter Kit, Titan Dispenser + 2 Rolls of VaporSeal, 50 Sheets/Roll
The dispenser facilitates the quick and easy dispensing of film from a roll allowing microplates to be sealed three times faster than using sheeted films. Environmentally friendly; no paper liner to remove and discard; utilizes approximately 59% less material than AeraSeal sheeted film. Each sheet is separated by an adhesive-free, perforated, color-coded red band. The smooth lower surface of the dispenser can be used to seal the film to the plate. Dispenser protects unused seals from contamination. Lower support prop prevents dispensing bill from contacting surfaces to prevent contamination. Replacement rolls can be easily installed by releasing the locking clasps on the dispenser.

Xtreme™ AlumaFoil™ is an aluminum foil seal that offers excellent chemical resistance and superior performance in ultra-low temperatures. The smaller dimensions and chamfered corners result in no plate overhang for robotics applications; universal fit for use with all plate types (e.g. raised-rim and non-skirted). Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Recommended for -80°C long-term storage. Excellent chemical resistance (e.g. DMSO). Specially formulated adhesive provides an excellent seal to minimize evaporation and well-to-well contamination. 1.9mil thick aluminum foil removes easily without tearing and allows for visual verification of the seal’s security around each well. Pierceable with a pipet tip for direct sample recovery. Not recommended for PCR.

ThermalSeal A sealing films are an advanced version of Excel Scientifics classic ThermalSeal A sealing films for PCR. ThermalSeal A films consist of 50 mum thick clear polypropylene with a thicker 50 mum layer of a stronger adhesive formulated for improved protection against evaporation and leakage during thermal cycling. Intended for non-real-time PCR applications ThermalSeal A films are designed to fit inside the edge of raised-rim PCR plates and provide more secure sealing of all wells because the center of the film does not extend over the plate rim. Two end tabs allow for easy positioning of the film on the plate but are perforated for easy removal if necessary.Each film measures 77.8 x 135.5 mm overall. Length between the perforations with end tabs removed is 118.1 mm.
