These durable desiccators have a temperature range of 40 to 120F (4 to 49C). They are made of heavy-duty, 1/4" thick acrylic. Closed cellular PVC gaskets prevent system leaksgaskets will not take a set or keep an impression. Two gas ports (1/8" NPT x 1/4" hose barb inlet; 1/4" NPT x 1/4" hose barb outlet) are included. Not designed for vacuum use. Choose clear units for easy viewing of contents, or choose amber units for protecting light-sensitive compounds from ultraviolet light. All models are easy to access and clean; slip-away hinges allow complete removal of door when needed. Adjust shelf positions to suit your needs. Models 08900-50 and -52 include two shelves; will hold five shelves. All other models include four shelves; will hold ten shelves.

This cabinet is injection molded of high impact strength polystyrene for attractive styling and rugged durability. The full transparency of this material allows total visibility of contents from all sides. A foam rubber gasket provides an airtight seal when the door is closed and latched. The door stores in a convenient underneath compartment when opened.
The cabinet is designed for safe and convenient stacking up to five units high.
Each cabinet is packaged with a supply of silica gel adsorbent to extract moisture from the air present within the cabinet.
