Incucyte rAstrocytes are isolated from the cortex of Sprague Dawley Rats at day 18 of gestation and cryopreserved at 2 000 000 per vial. The ready-to-use vials are intended for use within the Incucyte Live-Cell Analysis System in 96-well co-culture assays with Incucyte rCortical Neurons Cat. No. 4753 for live-cell analysis of Incucyte Neuronal Activity or Incucyte Neurite Analysis.

It features low potential barrier (work function), high melting point and stability at high temperatures, a low vapor pressure that reduces evaporation lost, and chemical stability. The LaB6 beam is ten times brighter than tungsten, has superior resolution and can be used in a wide range of accelerating voltages. It provides sharp and clear pictures even to the smallest details. Heat and vacuum are the determinants of cathode tip's life, but at 1550 °C and 10-7 Torr, a service life of about 500 hours can be achieved.
