Brucella Agar with Sheep Blood, Hemin, and Vitamin K is an enriched culture medium designed for the isolation and cultivation of fastidious anaerobic bacteria. Each sterile 100 × 15 mm plate contains 20 mL of Brucella agar base supplemented with 5% defibrinated sheep blood along with Hemin and Vitamin K1. These additives supply essential growth factors required by organisms such as Bacteroides, Prevotella, Fusobacterium, and Clostridium species.
