An ERRa ERRB and ERRY agonist induces reporter gene expression in HEK293 cells expressing ERRa ERRB or ERRY (EC50s 98 230 and 430 nM respectively) increases mitochondrial respiration in C2C12 myoblasts at 10 UM increases the number of quadricep oxidative muscle fibers and quadricep cytochrome C myosin IIA and mtDNA levels as well as increases running distance length of time running and grip strength in mice at 50 mg/kg twice per day inhibits age-related increases in albuminuria and kidney weights and age-related decreases in kidney podocin levels in a mouse model of age-related kidney dysfunction at 25 mg/kg per day for eight weeks decreases body weight and fat mass blood levels of total cholesterol HDL and triglycerides and adipocyte size in a mouse model of high-fat diet-induced obesity at 50 mg/kg twice per day reduces blood glucose levels in a glucose tolerance test in the same animals at the same dose
