Biotium CF640R Biocytin
Fluorescent biocytin conjugates are cell-impermeant, fixable polar tracers with biotin and an aldehyde-fixable primary amine groups. Polar tracers are commonly used to investigate cell-cell and cell-liposome fusion as well as membrane permeability and transport through gap junctions or cell uptake during pinocytosis. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Far-red fluorescent CF640R dye has excitation/emission at 642/662 nm.
Biotium CF640R Hydrazide
Our CF dye hydrazides are bright, extremely water-soluble and nontoxic. These properties make the dyes excellent fixable polar tracers for microinjection into cells. Hydrazides also can be used for labeling aldehyde or ketone groups, however, for this application we recommend using the more reactive CF dye aminooxy forms. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Far-red fluorescent CF640R dye has excitation/emission at 642/662 nm.
Biotium Mix-n-Stain™ CF660C Small Ligand Labeling Kit
Mix-n-Stain™ Small Ligand Labeling Kits are designed for rapid labeling of low molecular weight (MW 150 -5000) ligands without a purification step. Suitable ligands or substrates include SNAP-tag, CLIP-tag™ and HaloTag ligand derivatives that have an aliphatic amine. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Far-red fluorescent CF660C dye has excitation/emission at 667/685 nm. It is suitable for labeling ligands for cell surface staining.
Biotium 5(6)-Tetramethylrhodamine Maleimide
5(6)-Carboxytetramethylrhodamine maleimide has C6-linker that enhances the fluorescence after the dye is conjugated to proteins. The product is a direct replacement for 5(6)-carboxytetramethylrhodamine C5-maleimide (91040).Properties: Ex/Em (MeOH) = 540/565 nm; Red solid soluble in DMF or DMSO; Store at -20°C and protect from light, especially in solution; C35H36N4O6; MW: 608.66.
Biotium CF770-Dextran 150, 000 MW, Anionic and Fixable
CF dye labeled dextrans could be used as a fluorescent fluid-phase markers to study cell permeability, endocytosis, or mechanisms of biomolecular delivery. The dextran conjugates are available in a variety of molecular weights, and contain a formaldehyde-fixable free-amine group. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Far-red/near-IR fluorescent CF770 dye has excitation/emission at 681/698 nm.

CF Dye Succinimidyl Esters (SE, also known as NHS esters) are amine-reactive fluorescent dyes. SE dyes are commonly used to label antibodies and other proteins on free amine groups, such as lysine residues. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Green fluorescent CF514 dye has excitation/emission at 516/548 nm.

Biotium Fura-2, AM Ester, 20x50ug
Fura-2, AM ester is an intracellular fluorescent calcium indicator, and the preferred dye for ratiometric imaging microscopy. The membrane-permeant AM ester can be loaded into cells via incubation, but due to limited water solubility, a mild detergent Pluronic F-127 is often used to facilitate cell loading. Fura-2, AM ester itself does not bind Ca2, but intracellular esterases readily hydrolyze it to Fura-2. Upon calcium binding, the excitation maximum of Fura-2 undergoes a blue-shift from 363 nm (no Ca2) to 335 nm (high Ca2) while the emission maximum is relatively unchanged. Measure by flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, or certain fluoresence microplate readers.
