Biotium FAM SE, 5 and 6 isomers
5(6)-FAM SE (full name: 5-(and-6)-Carboxyfluorescein, succinimidyl ester mixed isomers) is an amine-reactive green fluorescent dye widely used for labeling proteins or other molecules that contain a primary or secondary aliphatic amine. The coupling reaction is usually carried out at pH 8-9.5. The amide linkage from the coupling reaction is much more stable than the thiourea linkage formed from the coupling of an amine and an isothiocyanate. Biotium Mix-n-Stain™ CF555 Small Ligand Labeling Kit
Mix-n-Stain™ Small Ligand Labeling Kits are designed for rapid labeling of low molecular weight (MW 150 -5000) ligands without a purification step. Suitable ligands or substrates include SNAP-tag, CLIP-tag™ and HaloTag ligand derivatives that have an aliphatic amine. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Orange-red fluorescent CF555 dye has excitation/emission at 555/565 nm. It is suitable for labeling ligands for cell surface staining.
Biotium Fluorescein-5-Maleimide
Fluorescein-5-maleimide is the most widely used green fluorescent thiol-reactive dye. The reaction requires very mild conditions and is highly specific. Properties: Ex/ Em = 492/515 nm (pH 9)' e = 83,000; Yellow solid soluble in DMF; Store at -20°C and protect from light; MW: 427.
Biotium CF488A Hydrazide
Our CF dye hydrazides are bright, extremely water-soluble and nontoxic. These properties make the dyes excellent fixable polar tracers for microinjection into cells. Hydrazides also can be used for labeling aldehyde or ketone groups, however, for this application we recommend using the more reactive CF dye aminooxy forms. Biotium CF647 Tyramide
CF dye tyramide conjugates can be used for tyramide signal amplification (TSA), which is an enzyme-mediated detection method that uses horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to generate high-density labeling of a target protein or nucleic acid in situ. CF dye labeled dextrans could be used as a fluorescent fluid-phase markers to study cell permeability, endocytosis, or mechanisms of biomolecular delivery. The dextran conjugates are available in a variety of molecular weights, and contain a formaldehyde-fixable free-amine group.
