This ready-to-use environmental swab system consists of a 5-inch rayon-tipped swab which contains letheen neutralizing buffer to facilitate recovery of bacteria. The swabs can be used wet or dry to sample surfaces and quickly deliver 1.0 mL of sample onto a 3M Petrifilm Plate. Handy vinyl-covered wire rack which holds up to 50 swabs is sold separately.
