Silicone Rubber / PTFE Septa is 45⁰ Shore A (hardness) and is 1.3mm thick. Use as septa or a liner. Cap has a 9mm center hole. Can be used for use in Non-Critical Analytical Testing and is intended for storage. Use with Vials or Bottles with 15-400mm screw threads.

Soft polyethylene caps are more pliable than other Snap Caps and are easier to place on the vial. Popular choice when using a large number of caps at one time. These caps may not seal as well as other Snap Caps and should be used with sample solvents with low volatility. Butyl Rubber with Tefzel is a lower cost Septa but inert enough for most applications.

Soft polyethylene caps are more pliable than other Snap Caps and are easier to place on the vial. Popular choice when using a large number of caps at one time. These caps may not seal as well as other Snap Caps and should be used with sample solvents with low volatility. This septa was designed for specific, older instruments such as Agilent 1050 and to provide extra cleaning when "wiping" a needle. Also provides a small degree of better resealing after injection compared to Silicone Rubber / PTFE Septa.
