X Shape Pre-Slit provides a greater target area for needles and are easier to penetrate but do not reseal as well as single slit septa. Recommended for Waters Alliance & Acquity instruments. Soft polyethylene caps are more pliable than other Snap Caps and are easier to place on the vial. Popular choice when using a large number of caps at one time. These caps may not seal as well as other Snap Caps and should be used with sample solvents with low volatility. Ultra-low Bleed Septa provide less extractables than most septa and is recommended for LCMS.
