Baricitinib phosphate is a selective, orally bioavailable JAK1/JAK2 inhibitor, with IC50 values of 5.9 nM and 5.7 nM, respectively. It is intended for research use only. In cell-based assays, it acts as a potent inhibitor of JAK signaling and function, inhibiting IL-6-stimulated phosphorylation of STAT3 and subsequent production of MCP-1 in PBMCs. It also prevents the production of IL-17 and IL-22 by Th17 cells.
- Potent JAK1/JAK2 inhibitor
- Inhibits IL-6-stimulated phosphorylation of STAT3
- Prevents production of IL-17 and IL-22 by Th17 cells
- Reduces inflammation, CD8 infiltration, and MHC class I and class II expression in vivo
