The film sheet can be removed from the plate without disturbing the identification label due to the finely perforated end-tabs. Provides a secure seal and is easy to remove. Rigid polyester film features good clarity and easy handling. Features two end-tabs with perforations.
Alkali Scientific Xtreme™ AlumaFoil™ High-Strength ULT Sealing Film, 100/pk
Xtreme™ AlumaFoil™ is an aluminum foil seal that offers excellent chemical resistance and superior performance in ultra-low temperatures. The smaller dimensions and chamfered corners result in no plate overhang for robotics applications; universal fit for use with all plate types (e.g. raised-rim and non-skirted). Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Recommended for -80°C long-term storage. Excellent chemical resistance (e.g. DMSO). Specially formulated adhesive provides an excellent seal to minimize evaporation and well-to-well contamination. 1.9mil thick aluminum foil removes easily without tearing and allows for visual verification of the seal’s security around each well. Pierceable with a pipet tip for direct sample recovery. Not recommended for PCR.

Adhesive film is ideal for selectively sealing and protecting one or two 8-well plate rows. Convenient MiniStrips can be used as a secondary seal to cover films that have been previously pierced. Thermo stable film forms a superior seal around each well. Perforated tabs may be removed or sealed around plate edge. Polyester based strips withstand -40?C to +120?C and are resistant to chemicals and solvents.

This unique double-layer film consists of a clear, easily pierceable, adhesive-free polypropylene film bonded to a 96-well diecut adhesive polypropylene sublayer. This combination provides an adhesive-free zone over each well while ensuring a secure seal around the rim and between wells. Designed for 96-well microplates where well-to-well contamination and crossover is of critical concern. The easy-piercing film allows for direct sample recovery with single and multichannel pipettors or robotic probes. The adhesive-free zone above each well prevents adhesive fouling of the pipet tip or probe, ultimately minimizing the amount of adhesive that comes into contact with the sample. Pierceable with multichannel pipettors or robotic probes.
