NeuroMag Transfection Reagent is a Magnetofection transfection reagent for neurons from 1 DIV to 21 DIV. NeuroMag has proven to be extremely efficient in transfecting a large variety of primary neurons such as cortical, hippocampal, dorsal root ganglion and motor neurons with all types of nucleic acids. High transfection efficiency was also achieved in primary astrocytes, oligodendrocyte precursors or neural stem cells and other cell lines. With the unique properties of NeuroMag, transfected neurons can be followed for several days.

Cell Systems Corporation Human Primary Keratinocytes (ACBRI 2K0)
Primary Human Primary Keratinocytes (ACBRI 2K0) were isolated from dispase dissociated dermal tissue. Unlike cells from other providers, Cell Systems primary cells are isolated without positive control antibody labels. Each vial contains ~1 x 10^6 cells with 85-92% viability under ideal conditions. They are available at Passage 3 (<12 cumulative population doublings) and will initiate a Passage 4 cell culture in a 75 cm2 flask. Each vial of cells is shipped with Bac-Off (antibiotic) and CultureBoost (animal derived growth factors) at no additional cost. These cells require specialized low-calcium Keratinocyte media. This allows production of ProLabel-tagged, hygromycin B-resistant target cells of interest for use in cytotoxicity assays involving detection of cell lysis. This product uses EFC technology. The retroparticles mix can be used to transduce target cells with a ProLabel-tagged housekeeping gene. Target cell death in a cytotoxicity assay will release ProLabel to the media, where EA contained in the detection reagent will produce EFC signal. These retroparticles ship as 2 vials each of cryopreserved adherent and suspension retroparticles.
