Premixed, prebuffered fixatives, are pH adjusted for immediate laboratory use. They are freshly prepared upon receipt of order to ensure maximum shelf life. The fixatives are filled in 20 ml glass vials (10 ml/vial). This allows for the immediate fixation of your specimens without costly and time consuming transfer associated with ampoule contained fixatives. Visikol Inc Visikol HISTO-1 30mL
Laboratory Reagent, Histological Reagent, Tissue Clearing Reagent, Visikol HISTO-1, 30mL. A simple and rapid tissue clearing formula that can be used to image tissues in 3D without damaging the underlying cellular morphology. Designed to pair with immunolabeling and reversible so that 3D histology can be followed up with traditional 2D histology. The Visikol HISTO tissue clearing approach is comprised of two different reagents called Visikol HISTO-1 and Visikol HISTO-2 whereas Visikol HISTO-1 is used first and Visikol HISTO-2 is used second. However, for small tissues such as micro-tissues and thin brain slices (500 um), only Visikol HISTO-1 is required and tissues can be imaged in Visikol HISTO-1. Larger tissues must be placed in Visikol HISTO-2 to finish clearing and then these samples can be imaged in Visikol HISTO-2.

P504S, also known as α-methylacyl coenzyme A racemase (AMACR), is a peroxisomal and mitochondrial enzyme that has been shown to play a role in bile acid synthesis and β-oxidation of branched chain fatty acids. In immunohistochemistry studies, P504S has been shown to be a specific marker of prostatic adenocarcinoma. Additionally, prostate glands involved in PIN have been found to express P504S, whereas P504S antibody was nearly undetectable in benign glands. P504S antibody has also been shown to stain many other types of carcinoma such as hepatoma, breast carcinoma, pancreatic islet tumor and desmoplastic small round cell tumor. HMW CK and p63 may serve as a useful panel with P504S.

BOND Dewax Solution is a deparaffinization solution specifically designed for use on the automated BOND system. BOND Dewax Solution is much less harmful than alternative deparaffinization solutions such as xylene. It is provided ready-to-use in 1 L bottles and can be poured directly into the appropriate bulk reagent container on the instrument. The use of BOND Dewax Solution allows paraffin wax to be removed from tissue sections before rehydration and staining on BOND. It is specially formulated to be compatible with the automated BOND system, and efficiently removes wax from slides while retaining the integrity of tissue antigens and probe binding sites.
