Evosphere UHPLC and HPLC columns are 100 A Monodispersed Fully Porous Silica-based columns designed to combine the benefits of Fully Porous and Core-Shell particle technology into an improved particle design and morphology that brings cutting-edge loading capacity to ultra-high-resolution particle columns. The Monodispersed Particles provide similar efficiency to Core-Shell products when comparing them directly via particle size matching and significantly increase loadability which allows ultra-high resolution analytical separations to scale to preparative separations for isolation work if needed. The bonded phase chemistries are exciting as well to maximize selectivity with novel C12 bonded phase, 2 multi-modal C18/AR, and C18/PFP bonded phases, an extended and stabilized phenyl funtionality in the Diphenyl bonded phase, a polar endcapped AQUA phase, a Phenyl-Hexyl phase, a propyl PFP phase and the RP18-Amide bonded phases which is great for doing bases at low pH.

Proteomix ion-exchange phases have been innovatively developed for achieving high ion-exchange capacity, a breakthrough technology for non-porous resins. Proteomix packing support is composed of a rigid, spherical, highly cross-linked poly(styrene divinylbenzene) (PS/DVB) non-porous bead with particle size selections of 1.7, 3, 5 and 10 µm. The PS/DVB resin surface is grafted with a highly hydrophilic, neutral polymer thin layer with the thickness in the range of nanometer. The hydrophobic PS/DVB resin surface is totally covered by a hydrophilic coating that eliminates non-specific bindings with biological analytes, leading to high efficiency and high recovery separations for biological molecules.

These columns combine high efficiency separations with low back pressure. The Encapsulated Bonding Technology (EBT™) greatly increases the ligand coverage of the silica surface and eliminates the effect of unbonded silanol groups on separations. This higher ligand coverage results in improved inertness, chromatographic performance and stability. Solid Core particle technology provides higher efficiencies per unit back pressure as compared to sub-2-micron UHPLC columns.
