7-Hydroxyflavone is a flavonoid isolated from *Clerodendrum phlomidis*, demonstrating anti-inflammatory activity. It protects renal cells from nicotine (NIC)-associated cytotoxicity through the ERK/Nrf2/HO-1 pathway, and inhibits PKM2, COX-2, and 5-LOX. This compound is orally active.
