As with other fluorescein diacetates, DAF-2 diacetate is membrane permeant and is deacetylated by intracellular esterases to 4,5-diaminofluorescein DAF-2. Can be used for the fluorimetric detection of nitric oxide and in fluorescence microscopy to measure real-time changes in nitric oxide levels in vivo. Spectral Data lambdaex 491nm lambdaem 513nm.

Chemical. CAS 261943-47-9. Formula C17H17N3O3. MW 311.34. Synthetic. fluorescent reagent for use in circular dichroic exciton method for derivatisation of hydroxyl-groups under mild conditions. The absorption at 406 nm is futher in the red than for reagents like naphthoylimidazole. The reagent offers high sensitivity through a high molar extinction coefficient.
AdipoGen Cycloastragenol
Chemical. CAS 84605-18-5. Formula C30H50O5. MW 490.73. Cycloastragenol is an aglycone of astragaloside IV isolated from Astragalus species. Extensive pharmacological effects have been attributed to cycloastragenol, including telomerase activation, telomere elongation, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative properties, improvement of lipid metabolism and wound repair promotion. It has been shown to inhibit endoplasmic reticulum stress-associated TXNIP/NLRP3 inflammasome activation and NLRP3 inflammasome-mediated pyroptosis. It improved immune function in CD8 T lymphocytes from HIV-1-infected patients. It might be a novel candidate for age-associated diseases.
AdipoGen DIB-Cl

Synthetic. 4-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazol-2-ylbenzoyl chloride DIB-Cl as reagent for amine labelling was used successfully for derivatization and fluorescence detection of enantiomers of methamphetamin and p-hydroxymethamphetamin, in urine samples. It has also been used for 3,4-Methylendioxy-N-methylamphetamin in blood, morpholine and orther compounds. DIB-Cl as a label was used on fluorescent derivatization some hydroxyl group containing endocrine disruptors, including bisphenol A BPA, bisphenol B BPB, bisphenol E BPE, bisphenol F BPF and 4-nonylphenol 4-NP. DIB-Cl showed superior fluorescence intensity FI to other commercially available reagents, excellent stability in solution and high reactivity with primary and secondary amines under mild conditions.

AdipoGen Cnidilin
Chemical. CAS 14348-22-2. Formula C17H16O5. MW 300.3. Cnidilin is a natural compound belonging to the coumarin family and normally isolated from Radix Angelicae dahuricae RAD, a traditional Chinese medicine TCM. RAD possesses anti-oxidant, anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory effects. Cnidilin has been described to show strong antiplatelet aggregation activity in vitro to be a GABAA receptor ligand and NO production inhibitor.
AdipoGen 6-Carboxy-DCF DA
Chemical. CAS 144489-10-1. Formula C25H14Cl2O9. MW 529.29. Fluorescent indicator. The non-fluorescent 6-CDCF DA passively diffuses across the cell membrane and is hydrolyzed to fluorescent CDCF by intracellular esterases. It has been shown to be highly sensitive, long-lasting, cell-permeant and fluorescein-based tracer for quantifying ROS generation. Substrate for MRP2 and MRP3 and therefore the function of the efflux transporters hepatic exrection and multi-drug resistance associated proteins MRP2 and MRP3 can be measured using 6-CDCF DA. AdipoGen o-Cresolphthalein
Chemical. CAS 596-27-0. Formula C22H18O4. MW 346.38. Synthetic. o-Cresolphthalein is a reversible pH indicator that is colorless at pH 8.2 and red at pH 9.8. The kinetics of the reverse pathway red-purple to colorless is slow, thereby making it an appropriate molecule to check flow patterns in ducts with corrugated walls. It is also used for the colorimetric determination of calcium content via the o-cresolphthalein complexone method. Binding of calcium to o-cresolphthalein, in the presence of alkaline conditions pH 10-12, results in the formation of a red complex with an absorbance at 570-575nm. This compound is applied in sensors, display device, imaging materials, authentication system for secure documents, lithium cells, inks, markers, toners, paints, adhesives, food storage, urine analysis test strips, drugs and blood analysis.

This fluorescent dye is well suited for monitoring cell movement or location. Freely passes through cell membranes, where it is transformed into cell membrane-impermeant reaction products and is converted to the highly fluorescent probe fluorescein once the acetate groups are cleaved by intracellular esterases. The dye exhibits ideal tracking properties it is stable, nontoxic at working concentrations, well retained in cells and brightly fluorescent at physiological pH. The green excitation/emission spectra are well separated from GFP green fluorescent protein and RFP red fluorescent protein spectra allowing for multiplexing.

Tetramethylrhodamine TMR is one of the fluorophores most often used for preparing peptide, protein, nucleotide and nucleic acid conjugates. TMR dyes have been widely used as acceptors for FAM fluorophores in a variety of FRET studies. The dye can be coupled to primary or secondary amines via standard peptide chemistry.
AdipoGen 3-Cyanoumbelliferone
Chemical. CAS 19088-73-4. Formula C10H5NO3. MW 187.15. Synthetic. Phenolic dyes with high pKas - such as 7-hydroxycoumarin often called umbelliferone and the more common 7-hydroxy-4-methylcoumarin - are not fully deprotonated and therefore not fully fluorescent unless the pH of the reaction mixture is raised to above pH ~10. Thus, substrates derived from these fluorophores are seldom used for continuous measurement of enzymatic activity in solution or live cells. The similar 3-cyano-7-hydroxycoumarin and 6,8-difluoro-7-hydroxy-4-methylcoumarin have lower pKas, making them suitable for a broader range of applications. Moreover, the -trifluoromethylumbelliferone product has longer-wavelength spectra and stronger absorbance than -methylumbelliferone. Ether, ester and phosphate substrates derived from these phenolic dyes may be fluorescent but invariably exhibit shorter-wavelength absorption and emission spectra.
