Hyaluronan-binding peptide, biotin labeled is a biologically active peptide. This peptide is biotinylated through a C-terminal GGGSK linker and binds to hyaluronan (HA). HA is a nonsulfated glycosaminoglycan found in the extracellular matrix and on cell surfaces, playing roles in various biological processes including fertilization, wound healing, and immune responses. The peptide can block HA binding to CD44 receptors and inhibit T cell proliferation.
