Microtubes
Single-use containers designed to hold microliter to milliliter quantities of liquid. Products may be sterile/non-sterile, come with or without a variety of caps (screw, tether, snap), and may be suitable for use in microcentrifuges.
High quality standard snap cap microtubes, or microcentrifuge tubes, are essential for the safe processing of low to medium sized sample volume applications in clinical chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology. Ideal for protein research, mass spectrometry, protein array, sample preparation, microcentrifugation and sample storage, they are available in a variety of colours, including amber and black for light sensitive samples.
The snap cap provides a safe, liquid-tight seal and some flat top caps include a needle insertion spot. Some microtubes are also available with additional safety lock snap caps to minimise sample loss during the centrifugation process and to provide added security when working with samples that are radioactive or which pose a biohazard.

Available as sterile or non-sterile, polypropylene microtubes can also feature low binding properties to reduce protein and nucleic acid loss and hence better sample recovery.

Grainger Burglar and Fire Safe 1.7 cu ft
The Grainger Approved Burglar and Fire Safe is a 1.2 cubic foot safe with a combination lock and 1 adjustable shelf. It is made of 14 gauge steel with a scratch resistant powder coat finish and has 4 live-locking door bolts. The safe is UL classified for 1 hour fire protection up to 1700°F. It can withstand a 30 foot drop and has pry-resistant concealed hinges. The exterior dimensions are 13"W x 19-1/2"D x 19-1/2"H. The exterior dimensions are 59" H x 30" W x 25" D. The safe body is 12 gauge steel and the door is 4.5" thick composite. It can be bolted to the floor and has an electronic lock with illuminated keypad, silent mode, and user/master codes. This UL listed residential security safe protects documents from fire and theft.
