CD1530 is an orally active, selective RARγ agonist and an antibacterial agent. It works by reducing Smad1/5/8 phosphorylation and overall Smad levels, as well as decreasing β-catenin, MMP9 protein, and Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) levels. It has shown efficacy in inhibiting heterotopic ossification, promoting Achilles tendon healing, and inhibiting muscle fatty infiltration. It is suitable for research in orthopedic diseases, such as heterotopic ossification and Achilles tendon injury, and muscle diseases, including those related to muscle fatty infiltration.
