This Laboratory Tissue Flotation Water Bath has a low profile design with a removable glass basin and is temperature controlled. The basin is illuminated from the side and provides excellent visibility of the paraffin tissue sections without glare. Easy to read digital LED display panel shows both set temperature as well as actual temperature. Temperature range is room temp to 75°C +/-1°C. Capacity is 2 Liters (1/2 gallon). Size of glass tray (included) is 10"(w) x 6.5"(d) x 2"(h), overall size: 14" x 14" x 4". Power requirements: 300W (110V, 60Hz).

Use the tissue float bath before the paraffin sections are placed on slides to prevent wrinkles and folds. The black PTFE interior and rim reduce eye strain by cutting down on glare while improving visibility of tissue sections. White powder-coated aluminum exterior is to keep clean. Safety features include an integrated indicator light alerting you when unit is on, as well as automatic shut-off.Order bath lid and a thermometer to help maintain desired temperature.
