Revert 520 Total Protein Stain works with your existing Western blot workflow and does not require special gels or equipment. Revert 520 Total Protein Stain is a robust and replicable solution for Western blot normalization. The stain can be detected in the 520 nm channel for quantification and normalization analyses. Product Formulation: TRIS-HCl: 250 mM; SDS: 8%; pH: 6.8. Add mercaptoethanol according to protocol.
Instructions :
1. Dilute 4X Stripping Bufffer ( 1part Stripping Buffer: 3 parts distilled water) and add beta-mercaptoethanol (0.6%).
2. Wash the wet membrane in the stripping buffer for 5 minutes.
3. Incubate the membrane in stripping buffer for 30 minutes at 65 degrees Celius while agitating.
