Research Products International Corp Malt Extract Broth, 500 Grams
Medium was recommended by Thom and Church for the cultivation of fungi. Its low acidity inhibits the growth of most bacteria. The high carbohydrate content enhances the rapid growth of fungi and yeasts.
Dissolve 15.0 g in 1 liter of distilled water. Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes.

Nutritionally enriched medium for the growth of recombinant strains of E. Coli and in the preparation and transformation of competent cells.
Dissolve 31g in one liter distilled water. Heat solution to boiling with continuous stirring. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes. Final ph @ 25°C: 6.8-7.2.

Dissolve 25 grams in 1 liter distilled water and adjust the pH to 7.2. Heat and frequently agitate to completely dissolve. Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes. Material specially granulated to reduce dust and increase solubility rate.

Also known as TSA or Trypticase Soy Agar, Tryptic Soy Agar is used for the isolation and cultivation of fastidious and nonfastidious microorganisms. This medium can be used for a wide variety of purposes including maintenance of stock cultures, plate counts and microorganism isolation of a range of specimens. It is also used for testing bacterial contaminants in cosmetics. The addition of blood can be used for the visualization of hemolytic reactions produced by various bacterial species. The addition of Tween 80 (Polysorbate 80) and/or Lecithin, is used for environmental monitoring as they inactivate disinfectant residue. Whether you need a general-purpose, nonselective media or you need added blood to facilitate a more fasitdious bacterial lawn for the detection of hemolytic reactions, we have several products to choose from.
