Salbutamol-d3 (Albuterol-d3) is a deuterium-labeled version of Salbutamol, an orally active, short-acting β2-adrenergic receptor agonist. It promotes tumorigenesis in gastric cancer cells through the β2-AR/ERK/EMT pathway and can relax bronchial smooth muscle, making it useful for studying bronchospasm induced by asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules for use as tracers during drug development, and deuteration can affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs.

- Used as an internal standard for quantitative analysis by NMR, GC-MS, or LC-MS.
